Immerse yourself in the unique world of Sampling is Beautiful Trio, an innovative group fusing the rhythms of jazz and the urban influence of hip-hop through interactive live performances and creative use of sampling. Formed in 2022, Sampling is Beautiful Trio finds its essence in the musical diversity of its members: Clément Sergé aka Zajazza is a dj/producer who has produced several hip-hop records both in France and across the Atlantic, Yacha Berdah (trumpet, bass and looper) is an artist who has performed alongside Ibrahim Maalouf, Grand Corps malade and Gael Faye, and Japhet Boristhène is becoming one of the most recognized drummers on the French jazz scene. The magic happens on stage, where Sampling is Beautiful Trio distinguishes itself through the art of live sampling. Each performance is a constantly evolving sonic experience, where jazz melodies intertwine with carefully selected samples of “forgotten” music, creating a captivating fusion that takes the audience on an unforgettable musical journey.

Their debut EP “Avant Première”, released on January 24, 2024, is a shining example of this ability, with tracks that oscillate between nostalgia and contemporaneity, perfectly illustrating Sampling is beautiful Trio’s unique fusion.
